KATHY VENAGLIA
Kathy co-founded BVB Advertising in 1990 and reinvented the company in 2005 with the new name Blue Chair Advertising. She currently manages the agency and the account service/media departments. Kathy enjoys the entire marketing process from the in-take of information/goals to the follow up measurement of every campaign. She heads up the new business efforts for the agency, but doesn't just land the account and walk away. She's continually involved in making sure each and every account adheres to the original strategy and creative platform developed at the beginning of the campaign. Her duties as Account Supervisor include not only Blue Chair's individual accounts, but also creating cross promotions within our account list. She enjoys putting together programs that benefit individual accounts as well as several accounts at once.

In keeping with that philosophy, Kathy thrives on the challenge of the media strategy. Her expertise has become the combination of the creative strategy and the media research/planning. Rarely do small agencies have such research resources, but Kathy keeps the media information up to date and current at Blue Chair. Her philosophy is that media buying is half science and half art. The research (science) is only part of the plan; the rest comes from years of experience, relationships and industry knowledge.
Her background before BVB includes 5 years of agency work at various ad agencies with account experience such as IKEA, Riggs Bank and Stohlman Automotive Group. She holds a BS degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Radford University and has over 25 years of total ad agency experience. |
